Bobby Shackelford

Shackelford Bobby Leon Shackelford age 85, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born January 18, 1939 in Bearden, Oklahoma to Clarence R. Shackelford and Agnes (Anderson) Shackelford. He married Georgia “Barbara” Morphis Shackelford on May 29, 1962 in Okemah, Oklahoma and to this union two children were born.

He graduated from Bearden High School. He worked as a maintenance man for Wewoka Public School. Bobby enjoyed watching birds, yardwork, games, watching sports on TV, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Georgia Shackelford, siblings, Lorene Sherman, Bill Shackelford, Jerry Shackelford, Melvin Shackelford.

Bobby is survived by his children, Bobby Shackelford and wife Tara of Wewoka, OK, Keith Shackelford of Wewoka, OK; grandchildren, Bobby Allen Shackelford of Norman, OK, Colby Ray Shackelford of Ada, OK, Ciarra Georgia Rene Granger and husband Jacob of Wewoka, OK; special grandchild, Jessica Shackelford of Wewoka, OK; great grandchildren, Jaidyn Lynn Shackelford, Rylan Shackelford; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 12, 2024 and 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, OK.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 14, 2024 in Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with John Edd Rowlett officiating. Interment to follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK.

Pallbearers: Richard Jasna, Vernell Kemp, Patrick Zier, Dee Edwards, Colby Shackelford, Bobby Shackelford, Jacob Granger.

Honorary Pallbearer: Stan Glenny.
