Bobby Porter

Bobby J Porter age 73, departed this world on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home. He was a life time resident of Wewoka, OK. born January 12, 1946 in Wewoka, OK. He was self-employed farmer.

Bobby leaves his wife of 52 years Wanda Porter, two daughters Charlene Bristow and husband Eugene of Wewoka, OK, Tina McCoy and husband Lewis of Shawnee, OK, one son Bobby Porter (Opposum) and wife Shonna of Wewoka, OK, numerous grandchildren, two sisters Patty Moore and husband Don, Rose Ann Pinkston and husband Joe and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceding Bobby in death are his parents Raymond and Pearl (Beardon) Porter, one son Billy (Pete) Porter, three brothers Willie Porter, John Porter, and Ronnie Porter.

Bobby was a lifetime resident of Wewoka and a true believer in the Lord. He had a lifetime of laughter and hard working hands to provide for his family. He loved to hunt, fish, trade for anything and ride his mule.

Honorary pall bearers will be Kevin Kincade, Joe Allen, Frank Gore, Gene Bristow, Roy Sandoval and Timmy Neal.

Pall bearers will be Howard McCoy, Dustin McCoy, Eric McCoy, Blake McCoy, Brent Tillery, and Jason Dorrough.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2019 at Assembly of God Church, Wewoka, OK with Pastor Matt Stubblefield officiating and burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
