Billy Jones

Billy Gene Jones, 92, of Norman, OK passed away January 7, 2020. He was born August 29, 1927 to George and Opal Jones in Cleveland, OK.

Billy enjoyed playing cards and playing games. He also enjoyed going to the lake and teaching the kids to ski. Billy was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed following their football program. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Billy is survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Mary Jo Jones, Douglas Jones and wife, Kandy, Matt Jones and wife, Michelle, Terri McCabe and husband, Keith, and Karl Jones and wife, Anne; 9 grandchildren, Shena Luther, Kastle Jones, Chelsea Hoelschler, Kirsten Jones, Isaac McCabe, Trenton McCabe, Kamden McCabe, Phoenix Jones, Cody Jones; 4 great-grandchildren, Ozzy Luther, Madison McCabe, Lily McCabe, and Katie McCabe; sister, Patricia Bundy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, George “Bud” Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Moore, OK. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
