Ann Deem Farmer Kelley
Ann Deem Farmer Kelley, 84, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away May 6, 2021. She was born September 12, 1936 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Adam Charles and Dorothy Deem. Her father owned and operated the Deem’s Dairy Queens in Shawnee and Seminole for many years.
She graduated Shawnee High School in 1954, Monticello Junior College in Illinois, and Oklahoma State University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She moved to Amarillo after graduation to teach elementary school, and married Kenneth Farmer of Amarillo in 1962. They were married until Kenneth’s death in 2005. She married Raymond Kelley in 2009. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Amarillo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Kenneth Farmer, a son-in-law Nigel Wise, and a stepson, Jeff Kelley. She is survived by her husband Raymond, her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Dick and Cody Deem of Shawnee, her sons Phillip and Patrick, her daughters Kelly and Kenna, a step-daughter Charmain, and granddaughters Ashley, Abby, and Rachelle.
