Angela Kathleen Allen age 58, passed away, Monday, February 20, 2023 in Ada, OK. She was born May 1, 1964 in Seminole, OK to George Wayne Allen and Mary Yancey Allen.
Angie attended school at New Lima Public Schools. She was very athletic and outgoing. She enjoyed playing basketball, running track and she was the only female on the boys baseball team. She was very proud that. She won many awards for her participation in athletics. Angie was a social butterfly and was friends with everyone. She graduated from New Lima High School on May 17, 1983.
Angie spent most of her life living in Wewoka with her family and friends. She moved to Seminole for a few years and then to Oklahoma City in search of new job aspirations and a new chapter in her life. For the last few years she resided in Ada to be closer to her children and other family members.
Angie was a very hard worker and worked in many different fields throughout her life. She was always dedicated to her jobs and ready for new challenges. There really wasn’t anything she couldn’t do! Angie had over 20 years of experience as a store manager, 20 years of experience working as a loan management officer with finance companies and she also worked as a waitress for many years. No matter what job she was working, she always left a lasting impression on everyone! Angie was loved and respected by many. Angie was a proud Christian who loved god and her country. She had a passion for helping people in need in any way she could. Whether it was family, friends or strangers. She donated to the food pantry and homeless shelters regularly. Angie also had a passion for helping animals by adopting, fostering or helping them find good homes. It meant the world to her to be able to help others. Angie was very outgoing and had a lot of hobbies and interests! She had three little dogs Bella, Lucy, and Tinkerbell, whom she loved very much! She loved spending time with her family and friends, listening and dancing to her favorite music, going thrift shopping, attending concerts, biker rallies and going on motorcycle rides with friends when she could. Angie loved spending time outdoors such as; gardening, laying out, swimming and sitting by a bonfire when the weather was nice. She loved decorating and celebrating holidays and the last few years she enjoyed going on weekend adventures with her daughter and exploring new places.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Lonnie Presley, Troy Allen, and George Allen.
Angie is survived by her children, Keila and Jay Mayfield of Spaulding, OK, Eric Campbell of Wewoka, OK, Khouri Campbell of Tulsa, OK, Karlie Campbell of Sulphur, OK, Preston Akin of Ada, OK, grandchildren, Keira Mayfield, William Mayfield, Kenzei Mayfield, Anthony Childers, Cameron Campbell, Kaitlynn Campbell, Michael Vick, Khloe Burkhart, Lyric Armstead, Rajon Johnson, Payton Vick, baby Harris on the way, five great-grandchildren, siblings, Ronnie Mike Presley of Wewoka, OK, Jeannie and Eddie Jones of Broken Arrow, OK, Donna Jo Harris of Shawnee, OK, Pamela Kinder of Stratford, OK, Paula Allen of Wewoka, OK, Roy Allen of Wewoka, OK, Tracey Short of Wewoka, OK, Melody and Bruce Finnie of Cromwell, OK, Raymond and Stacey Ward of Wewoka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26, 2023 and from 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. Monday, February 27, 2023, at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, OK.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Moreland officiating and assisting him will be Pastor Anita Moreland. Interment to follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK.
