Ada Lee Lumpkins,82, former Copperas Cove, Texas resident, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Ada was born July 31, 1938 in Teetersville, Kentucky, to John Marlowe and Lydia May (Johnson) Branson.

Ada was a homemaker until her husband’s retirement from the military and became the secretary at Jewel Elementary in Copperas Cove, Texas until her retirement.

Ada married Robert Lumpkins on May 7, 1955 in Sneedville, Tennessee and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2020.

Ada is survived by her daughters; Sabrina Marteney and her husband Randy of Copperas Cove, Texas, Deborah Mathews and her husband Timothy of Seminole, Oklahoma, Barbara Seay of Midwest City, Oklahoma and her son Robert Gregory Lumpkins of Norman, Oklahoma, her sister June Milwee of Chevrolet, Kentucky and sister-in-law, Myrna Drew of Copperas Cove, Texas, her grandchildren; Randi Gower and husband Rob Gower of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Belinda Cain and husband Justin Cain of Seminole, Oklahoma, Michael Gonzales and wife Katie Gonzales of Gunter, Texas, Melinda Mathews of Seminole, Oklahoma, RJ Marteney of Copperas Cove, Texas, Christine McBride and Husband Brady McBride of Austin, Texas, David Payne of Colorado, Robert Payne and wife Karen Payne of New Zealand, Joshua Lumpkins of Norman, Oklahoma, Amber Seay of Johnson City, Tennessee, Justus Lumpkins and wife Zoey of Moore, Oklahoma, Ashley Seay of Albuquerque, New Mexico, great grandchildren; Seth Mathews of Norman, Oklahoma, Amberlynn Mathews of Seminole, Oklahoma, Hana Gower of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Kylie Marteney of Houston, Texas, Brayden Marteney of Houston, Texas, Payton Marteney of Houston, Texas, Wyatt Gonzales of Gunter, Texas, Lexi Cain of Seminole, Oklahoma, Cogan McBride of Austin, Texas, Paloma McBride of Austin, Texas and Milam McBride of Austin, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Crawford-Bower Funeral Home Chapel in Copperas Cove, Texas. Burial will follow at the Kempner Cemetery in Kempner, Texas.

Casket bearers will be, Ricky Drew, Michael Gonzales, RJ Marteney, Joshua Lumpkins, Justus Lumpkins and Seth Mathews.
