The Smithsonian American Art Museum has announced that Robert “Bob” C. Davidson Jr. of Pasadena, California, has been appointed chair of the museum’s board of commissioners for a fouryear term. Davidson has been a member of the museum’s board since 2016 and was the chair of the collection committee from 2021 through 2023.
