Patricia Ann Yeager, known to most as Patty, enter this world on August 5th of 1952 and exited on April 15th of 2024. Patty lived in Seminole most of her life. She was a proud member of the Seminole Nation Mekusukey Band and Wind Clan. Her parents were Cecilia “Buster” and Jack Wolf who raised her at Gar Creek ceremonial grounds and Hitchitee Church. She gave her life to Jesus and was Baptized at Snake Creek Baptist Church in July of 1980 during a vacation Bible school. She graduated from Strother High School where she played basketball and was a cheerleader. Outside of school she played fast pitch softball with teams from all over Seminole and Oklahoma City.

Patty married her love of over 50 years, William Steve Yeager, on July 9, 1973. They lived in Oklahoma City until 1978, when they moved back to Seminole.

Patty was full of life. She loved to listen to music and dance. She was known for her beautiful patchwork which was proudly worn by chiefs, princesses, graduates, friends and family. She had a servant’s heart and was always willing to cook a meal, tend plants, or offer help where needed. Her fry bread was award winning and featured in several fry bread eating contest while her patchwork was often gifts for performers and contests winners at Seminole Nation Days.

Surviving her are her husband, Steve Yeager of the home, her sister, Jackie Wolf of Tecumseh and her brother, Larry Wolf of Seminole; One son, Michael Paul Wolf of Seminole; Two daughters Stephaney Lambert and herhusbandChadofSeminole and Tiffany Yeager and her husband Brian Palmer of Wewoka. 15 grandchildren: Rebecca Washington of Shawnee; Nicholas Washington of Washington; Samantha Washington of Oklahoma City; Lucas Shuler of Seminole; Kyra Welch and lifelong partner Chaz Jackson, Sr. of Lawton; Michelle Wolf of Seminole; Keifer Welch and his wife Jessica Harrison of Seminole; Gabriel Lambert and his wife Jessica of Ada; Cecil Wolf of Seminole; Abigail Lambert of Seminole; Deshaun Yahola of Okemah; Bryson Palmer of Wewoka; Malynzie, Malayna, Maelyn, and Anne-Aubrey Lambert of Seminole. 13 Great grandchildren: Tatam Washington; Mathew Washington; Justus Hill; Titus Lena; Erin Lena; Jemiah Billie; Jesse Billie; Malachi Angel; Odessa Lena; Vaeh Jackson; Malcolm Jones; Chaz Jackson, Jr.; and Jade Harrison. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Proceeding Patty in death are her parents; brother, Joseph Wolf; and sister, Gwendolyn “Pinky” Factor.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Shuler, Keifer Welch, Gabriel Lambert, Cecil Wolf, Deshawn Yahola, and Bryson Palmer.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chad Lambert, Brian Palmer, Greg Hardin, and Tommy Bighead.

Viewing for Patricia will be from 8 AM to 6 PM, Thursday, April 18th at Swearingen Funeral Home.

To honor the memory of Patricia a wake will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 6 PM with a celebration of life on Friday, April 19th at 2 PM at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rick Deer and Chebon Kernell. Burial and Dinner will be immediately following the service at Hitchitee Methodist Church. We welcome you to honor her talent by wearing her Seminole patchwork.
