Mary Marjorie (McChesney) Shell

Mary Marjorie (McChesney) Shell, former resident of Seminole and Bowlegs, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2023 in Artesia, New Mexico at the age of 96.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fred “Pete” Shell and her son George Fred Shell. She is survived by her son Don Ray Shell and daughter-in-law Norlene Shell of Artesia, New Mexico and her daughter Charlotte (Shell) O’Toole and son-in-law Charles O’Toole of Pryor, Oklahoma. Mrs. Shell is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
