Danny Ray Jackson, Earlsboro, Oklahoma resident, passed away July 1, 2023, at the age of 67 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born December 3, 1955, in Oklahoma City to Marcell Jackson and Ethel Lee (Dindy) Jackson.

Danny is survived by his high school sweetheart, Veronica Benard of the home in Earlsboro, Oklahoma, his son; Danny Shelton and his wife Feona of Missouri, Hope (Benard) Jackson of the home in Earlsboro, brothers; Mark Jackson of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Marcell Jackson and wife Jamma of Missouri, sisters; Cynthia LaCour and her husband Alford, Janet Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jaquita Overstreet and her husband Benny, of Norman, Oklahoma and Rozell Fabre of Norman, Oklahoma and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Brandy Jackson, his son Steven Ray Jackson, his sisters; Audrey Patricia Dean, Margaret Jackson, Jacquelyn Helm and brother, Floyd Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Kimberly Colter officiating. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
