Read moreFriday night #4 Seminole faced #5 Verdigris in a first round playoff matchup. Both teams came in with only one loss. The Chieftains fell in a shoot-out game to the Cardinals by a score of 4 1 - 3 3 . The first half of action lived up to all the hype the playoff game had warranted. To start the first, Seminole received the kick and Vcake Wassana swiftly threw a pass to Braxton Street who made a highlight reel catch to put the Chieftains in Verdigris territory. But, the offense then stalled and turned the ball over on downs. On the Cardinals first offensive play a bad pitch resulted in a fumble that was recovered by Seminole’s Jordan Lowe.
