We encourage our readers to write letters to the editor (Another Point of View). Letters may cover any subject including disagreements with editorial stands taken by this newspaper. Letters may be edited to delete any material thought to be libelous,  an invasion of privacy, or simply to conform to space available. The thrust of the letter will not be eliminated. Letters should be short and to the point. It is mandatory that all written letters to the editor be signed by the person writing them. Internet submitted letters must have valid e-mail address and phone number so they can be verified before publishing. Address and telephone numbers will not be printed.
